All about Our All-Natural Sterling Reserve Beef
Country Pride Food Service strives to provide our customers with a level of quality beef not found at the average supermarket. By following our existing philosophies on food, we are able to offer an all-natural beef product, one we think is superior to the conventional supermarket brand.
Free from Synthetic Hormones, Chemicals, and Steroids
Unlike most beef in U.S. supermarkets, our meats are not treated with synthetic hormones to stimulate growth. Among the most commonly used hormones in competitors’ cattle are synthetic forms of naturally occurring progesterones like estradiol and progestin. Some studies suggest a link between these hormones and reproductive cancers. In fact, Europe has banned the sale of hormone-treated cattle since 1989, including any coming from U.S. imports, for this very reason. Our All-Natural Sterling Reserve Beef cattle don’t receive hormones, antibiotics, chemicals, or steroids of any kind.
Corral Raised
Sterling Reserve cattle are corral raised in the Midwest and grain fed. We believe that a happier cow is a healthier cow, and healthier cows yield beef that is better for the consumer and better tasting too. Because our cattle enjoy improved living conditions and food, Sterling Reserve cuts feature superior marbling that makes for juicy first bites and a smooth, buttery finish.
Perfectly Aged
Our All-Natural Sterling Reserve Angus cuts are aged about two weeks. This process adds to its distinct flavor and well-preserved tenderness. We’re confident you’ll like what you see when a cut is delivered to your home. Country Pride Food Service doesn’t add dyes to the meat to enhance its appearance—we don’t want to hide or misrepresent the meat. We’re proud of our standards and products, and we think you will be too.
